Work Canapés

Canapé; can-a-pé; noun.
- A thin piece of bread, toast or cracker spread or topped with cheese, caviar, anchovies or other       savory foods.
- Is a small, prepared and usually decorative type of food, held in the finger and often eaten in one bite. A type of hors d'œuvre.
- The word comes from the french word for couch, drawing the analogy that the garnish sits atop the bread, as people do on a couch.
