Advent Challenge, Day 17; Mulled Cider

December 17th
So we've already covered mulled wine and today I thought we could do something similar. I've never been that big a fan of wine, although I love mulled wine, I think many of you out there will agree that cider is a much better drink. So today we are going to force a bit of Christmas upon the drink, in the form of mulled cider. I don't know about you but I know what I'll be drinking this Christmas. Feel free to try this with different ciders. I'd quite like to try it with a Strawberry cider, e.g the best drink ever. Anyway bros, enjoy!

2 Liters of cider, such as Scrumpy
6 Cloves
4 Star Anise
1/4 of Nutmeg, Grated
1 Cinnamon Stick
1 Vanilla Pod
Juice of 1 Orange
Juice of 2 Clementines
Juice and Seeds of 1 Pomegranate
4-5 tbsp of Caster Sugar, to taste

1. Pour all of the Cider into a large pan on a low heat and warm it through for a couple of minutes.
2. Add all the spices and fruit juices then turn the heat up.
3. Once boiling, turn down and simmer for 5-8 minutes while the flavors infuse.
4. Serve warm in a glass with some of the spices.

I hope you enjoyed this one. Check back later for the next post. Until then bros, Carry on cooking.
