In November, each bro must begin with a clean shaven face and for the entire month must grow and groom a moustache. Strictly just a moustache, no beards or goatees allowed, and each Mo Bro must conduct himself like a true gentleman. And if you don't think your man enough to sport one of those upper lip flavor savors, then you can always start a team with you fellow Bros. Also don't worry ladies, you can get involved as well, and no you don't have to stop dying those lip rugs you think we don't notice (I'm joking please don't kill me), a Mo Sista is essentially a woman who loves a Mo. Theses woman are dedicated to supporting Mo Bros in her life through their Mo growing journey.
At the end of the month, the Mo Bros and Sistas, commonly hold parties to celebrate the success of the event or attend many of the Gala Parties held around the globe. Competitions are held and prizes are given for the best Mos.
So how has Movember helped? Well the event has, in total, raised £184 million for cancer research charities (£80 million of that coming just from last year). So if you are a Bro, join your fellows and get your Mo on, or at the very least, support and sponsor your local Mo Bros and Sistas.
On another note, I realise that I haven't posted much this month but that is because I'm working on a large project for this December So stay tuned for that but for now bros, carry on cooking.
